Make no mistake about it. This great country of ours is under attack! To anyone who has been paying attention it is obvious. It is not a foreign aggressor trying to destroy us. We are being attacked from within by the very people elected to lead our country.
It starts right at the top with our Marxist President and his sycophantic supporters in the Senate and House of Representatives and it permeates right down to the local level with Mayors like Michael Bloomberg of New York and Rahm Emanuel in Chicago. Aiding and abetting these people every step of the way is the Uber-Liberal main stream news media.
These people despise the Founding Fathers, they despise our founding documents ... especially The Constitution ... and they despise free market capitalism and anyone who has become successful through it's practice.
Just this morning Democratic leaders made the rounds on the Sunday morning talk shows. Each and every one of them echoed what we have
been hearing from the President for the last week. They are not content with the "deal" they got in the recent fiscal cliff negotiations ... where they pushed through the largest tax increase in the Nation's history. No, this is not enough to feed their greedy, big government agenda.
The President has already said that he will not negotiate on the debt ceiling and is threatening to raise it unilaterally without the consent of Congress. He is citing the 14th Amendment to the Constitution as justification for this action. He is being vehemently supported by Nancy Pelosi, among others.
Almost to a person, the libs are saying that tax cuts and spending cuts are off the table. They are using typical, Chicago style, thug politics and totally ignoring the Constitution. As they always do, they are damagogueing every issue and attempting to brow beat the American people into submission. In their eyes, it is "my way or the highway". There is no middle ground.
We must remain vigilant, my friends. We need to prepare for the 2014 elections by identifying those candidates who have shown a track record of Constitutional Conservatism and fiscal responsibility. Once identified, we must work diligently to bring them to victory. We have no chance at the White House until 2016 so we must strengthen our majority in the House of Representatives and regain the Senate in 2014. In so doing, we can begin to reign in the out of control spending and work toward a balanced budget. If we do not succeed at this, then the pain will continue, and we may reach a point of no return.

Agree with you, we really, desperately need to cut our budget, nearly across the board (I don't believe we should cut Veteran's programs or Social Security...the people who payed into it are due the benefits for which they paid). It's a pity that our government consists mostly of individuals who are more interested in playing party politics (on both sides) than taking care of our country and her citizens. We have a few good people in the House and Senate, but they are in the minority.
