Happy New Year
As we all prepare to ring in the New Year with friends and loved ones I want take a minute to wish you all a Happy and Prosperous 2013!
As we hurtle towards the "Fiscal Cliff" these are trying times for this great country and her citizens. We can not be lax in our fight to return America to it's First Principles. I will continue to share my views and bring you relevant news as we venture into uncertain times. Stay focused, my friends, we have seen tough times in America before and we have risen from those trials stronger than ever. The task will be long and arduous, but I am confident that we can become a great Nation, and leader of the free world, once again.
Please stay tuned during the coming year, and may God Bless and care for each and every one of you.

The Second Amendment
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
This simple, 27 word clause may well be the most important 27 words in the multitude of documents that comprise the laws of the United States of America. If the government is ever successful in repealing this amendment, then law abiding citizens no longer posses the means to defend the other 9 Amendments in the Bill of Rights. Without the Bill of Rights, the people become slaves to an oppressive government.
This amendment, along with the rest of the Bill of Rights, was adopted into law on December 15, 1791 and has been the law of the land for 221 years.
In 2008 and 2010, the Supreme Court issued two landmark decisions concerning the Second Amendment. In District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008), the Court ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm, unconnected to service in a militia and to use that

Time to Get Back to Work
Another Christmas has come and gone. I sincerely hope it was a happy, healthy and joyous event for each and every one.
For many of us, today is another work day as we return to our jobs once again. If you are fortunate enough to have a few more days off during this holiday season it is still incumbent upon all of us to immediately return to the task at hand. That task being the never ending fight to return this great nation to the principles upon which it was founded, and reverse the destructive, "progressive" onslaught that has been going on since the days of Woodrow Wilson.
This will not be an easy task, and it will not be accomplished overnight. We have many issues to be addressed, but one of the first is going to be our duty to choose the right candidates for the 2014 election.

Welcome to First Principles
This image was selected as a picture of the week on the Malay Wikipedia for the 26th week, 2010. (Photo credit: Wikipedia) |
With the re-election of the most divisive and destructive President our country has ever known the next four years are going to be very trying for those of us who still believe in and uphold our nation's First Principles. During this time we must remain vigilant. We cannot become complacent and stand by expecting someone else to save our Republic. Me must all step up and do our part in preserving and protecting The Constitution of the United States of America. We must support, and elect, Constitutional Conservative candidates who will take the fight to our State Houses and our nations Capitol. Once elected, we must stand behind and support these leaders and we must hold them accountable for all they do on our behalf.
I, and my co-editor, intend, through these pages, to do our small part and will endeavor to keep you enlightened and informed. We will be posting our own views and we will be reposting articles from other sources that are relevant to our cause.
